City of Arlington issued the following announcement on Dec. 15.
The City is looking into offering Curb-side recyling to residents. We have had issues with the recycling bin site over the years with people dropping garbage and unrecyclable items in them. Residents would be given a cart similar to the garbage cart and the recycling would be picked up every other week on the same day as trash pickup. All recyclables would be put into the cart. No need to separate items. The cost for this would be around $5.00-$6.00 per month in addition to the cost of trash pickup. We are doing a survey to see how much interest there is for this service.
