City of West Union issued the following announcement on August 10.
The City of West Union, IA (population 2,486), is accepting applications for a fulltime Deputy City Clerk. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Personnel Records, Utility Billing, attend Council Meetings and record Minutes, Financial Reporting, Budget Preparation, along with Administrative Duties that require accuracy, proficiency, confidentiality, and limited independent judgment. Must possess a minimum Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Public Administration, and/or at least three (3) years of experience. Salary depends on qualifications; post-offer physical and drug test required.
Salary: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications
