City of Postville issued the following announcement.
LARGE ITEM PICK UP for Garbage Clients within City of Postville.
Commercial Accounts and Apartment complexes are not included. Saturday, October 16, 2021 couches, chairs, mattresses, etc. will be picked up on the regular garbage routes.
PUT ITEMS OUT EARLY
* FOR APPLICANCES, ELECTRONICS OR TV PICKUP*
Residents must purchase STICKERS from CITY HALL before October 13, 2021
Appliances- $50
Electronics- $25
TV's-small $40, large $75
Appliances, TV's, or Electronics will NOT be picked up without a sticker. (For Postville Residents only - do not bring in appliances from other locations) No construction or remodeling material, batteries, tires or chemicals will be accepted. This is a great chance to clean up property and get items hauled away. Postville Police will be citing property owners for nuisance violations following October 18, 2021.
