The Community Bank of Oelwein recently presented a check to the Oelwein Fire Department to assist the progress of the fire department working toward the purchase of a new aerial platform fire apparatus. The $3,000 donation will aid the department in providing funding to offset the expense of acquiring and equipping the aerial.
