The City of Ionia is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Receptionist-Front Office Clerk. Duties include processing receipts, maintaining related account records and files, and assisting the public, and other duties as assigned.

Position reports to the Finance Director. Requires graduation from high school; an Associate’s Degree in business or related field is preferred. Minimum experience of two years in an office environment preferred. Proficiency with computers is also necessary. Starting wage: $24.43/hr., after six months, $29.82/hr. Includes health insurance, retirement, and paid time off; all compensation and fringe benefits in accordance with AFSCME collective bargaining agreement. In addition, appointment to this position on a permanent basis is contingent upon successful completion of the required training period.
