495 students enrolled in South Winneshiek Comm School District schools in 2023-24 school year

There were 495 students enrolled in South Winneshiek Comm School District schools in the 2023-24 school year, 0.4% less than the previous year, according to the Iowa Department of Education.

Of all students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 53.3% were boys, and 46.7% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 91.1% of the South Winneshiek Comm School District's total enrollment.

South Winneshiek Comm School District roughly covers three schools within Winneshiek County and has a main office in Calmar.Public school enrollment in Iowa remained relatively stable in the 2024-25 school year, with 480,665 students, a slight decrease of 0.63% compared to the previous year.
